The articles name is Music-based therapeutic interventions for people with dementia and was published in 2018. This study included RCTS that compared music based therapeutic interventions for people with dementia. Control groups received no music therapy. In total 890 patients were included in the meta-analysis. It was concluded that music therapy improves emotional well-being and quality of life. Anxiety and depressive symptoms were reduced. However, further research should be conducted on the long term impact of music therapy.
