Site Evaluation Summary

Throughout this rotation, I presented 10 pharmacology cards, 3 H&Ps and one journal article. My first H&P was in regards to a patient with an inevitable abortion. While presenting the case, I did not present the pelvic exam in the correct order. I skipped over the portions that were within normal limits. However, in patients with OBGYN related complaints, it is important to notate the normal findings as well. Moving forward, I presented it in the correct manner. Going over pharmacology cards helped me comprehend the indications of certain drugs better. By understanding and memorizing the MOA of the drug, I was able to figure out what else the drug could be used for. The second case I presented was a patient with candidal infection. The third case I presented, was a patient with rupture of membranes during 37 weeks gestation.
