During my site evaluation I presented, 2 full length H&Ps and 10 pharmacology cards. My site evaluator was Professor Davidson. Throughout, this site evaluation I learned how it is important to make my own clinical judgement as well rather than just trusting the provider. It is imperative to be critical about the decisions being made related to the patients. Critical analysis of each plan for the diagnosis is important as these patients tend to be facilities for a prolonged period of time. Hence, new findings can be easily missed. I also learned how it is important to take a deeper look into the physiology related to the pharmacology cards. This would help me better understand the drug and its impact on the disease itself.
